  • Control which companies a station can write tags for.

Shipping / Association workflows

TrueVUE Essentials: Shipping / Association workflowsAssociate items to containers and generate Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) for reduction in shipping errors and facilitation of downstream receiving.

  • Associate individual items to cases, and cases to pallets.
  • Generate electronic ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice).
  • Flexibility to use either an RFID tag or a standard barcode to identify the container (case or pallet).
  • Generate ASN reports by date range.

Receiving Workflows

TrueVUE Essentials: Receiving WorkflowsWorkflows that streamline receiving processes and confirm the receipt of expected products, reducing costs associated with labor and shortages, and providing an electronic proof of delivery.

  • Automatically or manually receive items, cases, and pallets.
  • Flexibility to receive at dock doors, tabletop stations, countertops and other locations.
  • Validate received goods against an electronic Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) or undertake a “blind receive”.
  • Mechanisms by which an ASN can be retrieved include: reading an individual item within the shipment and back-solving to the ASN; reading a case or pallet RFID tag to get the ASN; or scanning a case or Pallet barcode to get the ASN.
  • Validates quantity of each item received against the expected quantity.
  • Validates the unique tag number against the expected number, protecting against counterfeit items.
  • Intuitive visual feedback is provided to the user.
  • Historical reports document previous receipts.

Product Returns Workflow

TrueVUE Essentials: Product Returns Workflow Expedite return activities and reduce operational costs.

  • These workflows provide the same capabilities as are found in the shipping and associating workflows, with the exception that in this case the direction of the shipment is reversed (i.e. retail location to a DC, a DC to a manufacturing site, etc).

  • Non-tagged items can be traced through an association with tagged items.
  • Flexibility to assign and edit standard Vue fields as well as customer-defined fields.
  • Historical reporting capabilities track all edits that have been made, with an attached date/time stamp.
